“The Future Is Big” is an easy to read, extremely interesting, and engaging book on how technology has affected our lives in the past and how it will do so in the future. It is very well researched and offers lots of real-world examples to support its argument that big change is coming and that it’s not all bad.The industry specific examples are a great guide for corporate leaders on how to prepare their companies to take advantage of the many fast-emerging technologies.Definitely worth a read.

The book talks a lot about how AI will be benefiting humans in the near by future. From underground flying cars to having your toilet scan your poop for early diseases! The author also give real life examples of how these inventions would benefit us and case studies being done to make these technologies. I could take tell Vanka did a lot of research and studying for this book. Not only does the author talk about the benefits of emerging techs, they also discuss their potential obstacles e.g. the lithium-ion batteries for “flying cars”, speech-based interface to communicate with AI, AI learning to communicate with another AI e.t.c. Fascinating suggestions and ideas honestly 👍 The book is also easy to follow with a dash of humor sprinkled throughout🤣 I love that Vanka tries to show us that humans and AI/technology CAN coexist in harmony and enhance our lives rather than replace human creativity. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this book to AI and tech enthusiasts! Good read!

This was such a great weekend read and it really made me think. The author gives some great ideas of how todays technology can and will effect our future in ways I have never thought of thought of before! I also like how the examples of AI that we will see in the future connected with todays technologies and how this will change the world as we know it. If you like facts about AI, autonomous cars or futuristic ideas this would be a great leisurely read.

With ChatGPT and AI, we are truly entering a new era. The pace of change feels so rapid that it’s daunting to try to keep up with the transformations of our time. An underlying sense of unease can set in.In this context, this book provides valuable insights to see our era clearly. Rather than feeling fear about the changes afoot, I think the book encourages us to focus on wisely using these technologies as tools to enhance our lives.Through this work, I’m reminded not to approach the shifting landscape with trepidation, but to thoughtfully embrace AI as an aid in our evolving world.
